Globally, estimates such as those from Goldman Sachs suggest that up to 300 million jobs could be exposed to automation, with the World Economic Forum projecting tens of millions of jobs replaced, in addition to even more jobs created.

Most Vulnerable Professions:
These roles involve repetitive, cognitive, or data-intensive tasks that generative AI and automation tools perform efficiently:

> Administrative and office roles: data entry, secretaries, office assistants, accountants, and virtual assistants. High exposure (generally 70-90% or more for routine tasks) due to AI handling scheduling, document processing, and basic organization.

> Doctors and other professionals who use well-defined procedures.

> Customer Service (Level 1): Call center agents, telemarketing, and basic support. Chatbots and AI resolve many routine queries, with the potential for a 40-80% reduction.

> Content and Media (Entry Level/Common): Basic writing, content generation, translation, localization, and routine graphic design. Tools like generative AI quickly produce drafts, variations, and translations.

> Finance and Accounting (Routine): Basic accounting, data processing, junior analysts, and some reporting. AI automates dashboards, anomaly detection, and compliance checks.

> Legal Support: Legal assistants focused on document review and routine research, judges (in roman law cases). > Stockbrokers and associated roles.

> Retail and Sales (Routine): Cashiers (self-service/AI), telesales, and some entry-level roles.

> Transportation (Long Term): Truck drivers and delivery roles, with autonomous vehicles posing risks (potentially affecting millions of people by 2030-2035).

> Information technology, telecommunications and systems; the functions of junior and intern (for better or worse) are already automated.

> Other roles: Assembly in some factories, basic programming/debugging, market research, and entry-level creative or analytical roles.

Women and administrative/office workers often appear disproportionately in high-exposure, lower-adaptability roles.

Key Points:

> Enhancement vs. Replacement. Many reports emphasize that AI increases productivity, leading to the evolution of work rather than its complete elimination. For example: Tasks are automated, freeing humans for higher value-added work (such as complex problem-solving, strategy, or relationship building). > The expansion of demand due to cost reduction may create more jobs overall.

> New jobs emerge in AI development, ethics, cutting-edge engineering, data curation, and AI-enhanced areas such as data analytics in healthcare.

> Historically and in projections, the net effects generally show job creation outweighing job replacement, although transitions can be difficult for individuals (requiring reskilling).

Lower Risk Professions (AI Resistant):
Roles requiring physical presence, emotional intelligence, complex judgment, creativity in unpredictable environments, or ethical/human supervision:

> Healthcare: Nurses, therapists, psychiatrists, surgeons, and caregivers (the human touch and adaptability are crucial).

> Education and Social Work: Teachers (especially early childhood/university education), counselors, and social workers.

> Specialized Trades: Plumbers, electricians, mechanics, and construction jobs (hands-on work, on-site problem-solving).

> Creative/Strategic Leadership: High-level strategy, original innovation, executives, and roles requiring keen human insight.

> Critical Safety: Pilots, judges (in common law cases), first responders.

> Scientific and Technological Research: Scientists, researchers, and developers.

> Other: Therapists, certain types of therapists, and roles with high adaptability/stress tolerance.

Advice for the Future:

> Focus on human skills: Emotional intelligence (logical intelligence is biological, therefore it cannot be acquired or improved), creativity, leadership, and complex decision-making complement AI.

> Learn to use AI: Proficiency with tools transforms potential threats into advantages. > Proactively reskill: Focus on areas such as AI supervision, healthcare, commerce, or hybrid roles.

> Adaptability is key: The job market will change, but history shows that technology creates opportunities even when it causes disruption.

The pace varies depending on the sector, speed of adoption, regulation, and economic demand. While short-term disruptions (e.g., layoffs in administrative/technical support roles) are real, the long-term scenario is one of transformation with net growth in many cases.
