Through self-imprecision and further research, I found a set of reasons.

The main reasons why a rational person often finds a creative person interesting and attractive largely stem from complementarity.
.

Here are the most common and profound reasons:

Contrast generates fascination
The rational mind tends to be structured, predictable, and driven by logic and evidence. The creative mind is fluid, unpredictable, and full of unexpected associations.
This contrast creates a kind of “attractive mystery”: the rational person feels that the creative person has access to a world that they themselves cannot easily reach.

Expansion of perspective
Rational people tend to think linearly and objectively. The creative person thinks laterally, metaphorically, and associatively.
This offers the rational mind something valuable: new ways of seeing the same problem or the same reality. Many rational people feel intellectually stimulated and “oxygenated” by this difference.

Emotional balance and vitality
The rational mind can become excessively controlled, serious, or even a little dry. The creative mind usually brings more spontaneity, humor, aesthetic sensitivity, and emotional intensity.
This humanizes and “warms up” the relationship, bringing lightness and pleasure that logic alone cannot generate.

Admiration for the ability to create
Rational people generally greatly respect the ability to generate something new from nothing (art, original ideas, innovative solutions).
There is a form of almost aesthetic admiration: “how can this person think like that?”. This admiration easily turns into attraction.

Potential synergy
Many rational people intuit (even unconsciously) that together they form a powerful team: The rational person brings structure, execution, and realism.
The creative person brings vision, innovation, and inspiration. This feeling of complementary potential is extremely attractive.

Breaking the mental monotony
A well-developed rational mind can tire of itself. The presence of a creative person introduces positive unpredictability, surprise, and constant discovery—something that pure logic rarely offers.

Projection and integration of one’s own shadow
According to some psychological approaches (especially Jungian ones), the rational mind often has a less developed creative and emotional side. By being attracted to someone creative, it is, in part, being attracted to what is lacking or dormant within itself.
.

Simple summary:
The rational person is attracted because the creative person brings novelty, emotional depth, beauty, and expansion to a world that tends to be more controlled and predictable. It is the encounter between order and possibility.
Of course, this is not an absolute rule—it also depends on emotional maturity—but these are the most frequent and profound reasons.
.

Now the most difficult exercise: what are the reasons of a creative person in relation to a rational one? I can’t figure it out myself, but researching the subject, the most indicated are:

Complementarity and balance: Creative minds tend to be associative, intuitive, chaotic, and full of possibilities. A rational mind brings structure, logic, focus, and the ability to filter ideas.

Emotional stability and security: Rational people generally demonstrate greater emotional control, clarity in decisions, and less tendency to be carried away by impulses or dramatizations.

Intellectual challenge and stimulation: A rational mind questions, asks for evidence, organizes arguments, and points out inconsistencies.

Ability to make the imaginary real: Creative people generate visions, concepts, and possibilities. Rational people tend to be better at planning, execution, prioritization, and solving practical problems.

Admiration for clarity and authenticity: Rational minds tend to be more direct, objective, and less concerned with appearances or emotional games.

Relief from one’s own overload: Highly creative people often suffer from excessive thoughts, creative procrastination, doubt, and dispersion. The presence of someone rational can bring relief.
.
Did I get it right?

As someone with a rational mind, I wondered why I’ve always been drawn to creative people in relationships, since they are mentally “opposite” to me.
